Potatoes!

Ladddiieeessss. It's Marissa. :)
Anyways.. I'm sorry I haven't gotten the video for you yet. It's been pretty hectic around here. I'll get the video for you ASAP. I promise!
Anyways. The more juicy stuff. You remember when I said there was alot of eye candy out here? I wasn't kidding. c;
The people here are a bit.. rude, though. Alot of people have cut in front of me while driving. I've almost gotten in a bunch of accidents already because of the impatient people here. It's a good thing I pay attention and am cautious! :P
I've also got a job interview for shoe carnival tomorrow. I'm nervous and excited! I've never had a job interview before. But this shoe carnival is highly understaffed, so I don't think they're going to be too tight. If any of you ladies has advice for my interview, let me know. c:

Something really exciting is that my house is actually only like 5 minutes away from everything. From grocery stores to outlet malls, it's all right around the corner! The movie theater is only like two minutes away! ;D The nearest mall is in Schaumburg.. which kinda sucks. And there's no Olive Garden!

That's all I have for now. Au revoir!
With love, Marissa.

Project Stick It To Barnes & Noble

Project Stick It To Barnes & Noble was a success!! We didn't take any pictures, but we'll hopefully make someone's day by leaving great messages in books (or, in some cases, messages that steer them away from a horrendous series about a hypocritical teenage girl with fidelity issues) but anyway, it was a great time and I hope to do it again with more people!

Hey it's Broke

Hey it's Brooke, i have some news for you. So I was watching tv in my living room when I looked out the window and realized there were two cops and two detective cars siting outside across the street from my house. Turns out some  is stealing the cooper from air conditioners in my nighborhood. Not good, I think everyone is finally gone . I hope there is no more commotion for the day that was enough. You can barley see them but there are the cop cars.

                                                       Sincerely,
     Brooke

*Click* Marissa speaking. Nine-er, Nine-er. *Click*
Heyyyy guys. So, yeah. I finally have internet. Let me give you a brief overview of what has occurred in the past couple of days, yeah?

The day I left, I had to pick up my dad from Alpine View. He was frantic and tapping his foot on the gravel as I pulled up. When I parked beside him, he told me to get in the passenger seat. I was confused at this point because I had been under the impression that I would be driving to our new house. He soon explained that he had to get the GPS out of the U-Haul truck we had rented before the place closed, as he had left it in the front seat.

So, we got the GPS, then returned to my old house to grab the last few remaining items, along with my dog Haily. Alas.. upon grabbing these things we were on our way to the new house.

Now, the ride wasn't very entertaining. I mainly played Candy Crush the entire way. But once we neared my new house, I looked up from my phone and glanced at my surroundings. There were many neat places. One of the places I actually plan to visit is a small village type ideal that represents an old wild western town. Each of the buildings follow the blueprints of the classic western buildings. As in.. saloons, corrals and such. I found this place extraordinarily interesting and put it down on my to do list.

Alrighty! So my dad and I finally made it to my new house. Whereas we unpacked the things from my car and brought them into my house. Here, my mom told me that my dog Popsicle actually jumped out of my brother's car window as soon as he pulled into the driveway, and my brother ended up chasing her around. Funny story? Why not. Anyways, I walked into my room and looked at the mess I had awaiting for me to assemble. I began unpacking on Saturday. My room is still not completely finished. And yes I know my writing is horrible. Deal with it!

Oh! And interesting fact.. I've watched Lion King every night since I moved here. (; And there seems to be a growing number of attractive males here. I'm a bit rusty, but I'm gonna need to pull out my flirt. *wink*

With love,
Marissa

(I will hopefully create a house tour video for you guys tomorrow morning! Woop! c; )

Here, have some pictures of my cat and my niece blowing out her birthday candles!

Hey it's Sara! :)

Hey ladies, it's Sara. So, I don't really know how to blog, and I'm not really sure what to write about, but I suppose I can discuss how nervous I am for college. Now I know we have talked about this before together, but there are mainly three big concerns that I have when faced with the idea of college.

First off, I have absolutely no idea who my roommate is, and that freaks me out. I'm going to be living with this girl for who knows how long, and I don't even get to find out who she is until about a month before we move in together. How are we supposed to establish a solid relationship in a month, when she may not live anywhere near me, making it even more difficult to get to know her before we have to live in the same room together. I just hope that I don't get someone that there is no way on God's green Earth I will ever get along with. And I get along with almost everyone that I meet, but there's always that one person that just makes me want to claw my eyeballs out and stick a knife in my eardrums everytime they speak. I definitely hope that person won't be my roommate.

I also hope that I won't starve in college, because I'm not exactly the greatest cook. I mean, they have several meal plans at the college that I will be attending, but I don't think that any of them give you three square meals a day at their cafeteria places. I am a growing girl. I need food. But, I'm also scared of the dreaded Freshman Fifteen.

Lastly, I don't know if I'm going to like the idea of being on my own at all. I have a terrible time waking up on my own in the morning. Whenever I set an alarm, I tend to sleep right through it, so my parents always end up having to scream upstairs at me to get my lazy butt out of bed. Now what am I going to do when they won't be there? I need an alarm that sounds like there's a fire drill going on or something. I go grocery shopping with my mom all of the time, but I feel like it's going to be rather overwhelming when I have to go all by myself to pick out my toothpaste and things like that. I mean, there are, like, fifteen billion different brands of toothpaste. Do I want the kind that claims it will whiten my teeth more, or do I want the kind that tells me that it is the leading brand that is guarranteed to freshen my breath the most? I need to start paying closer attention to the coupon section of the newspaper, because that will probably be my deciding factor.

Anyway, now that I have bored you ladies to death on my paranoia about college, I'll leave this entry at that, and hopefully someone else will have something more interesting to discuss.

With love,

Sara
